Ok, somebody needs to make a game with ... not a vampirism mechanic, but a ... nyandereification mechanic.

You get bitten by a catgirl, but the game treats it akin to a zombie bite, a vampire bite.

You can lean into, and go with it, but it drastically changes your play style, gives you significant strengths and unique abilities, but also massive downsides.

Or, you can seek out some kind of ... medicine or something that counteracts the nyan virus, and you can stave it off.

I also think it should be like... animorphs level visceral, like FEV.

As you cat ears grow, you have a constant screaming migraine as your eustacean tubes slowly shift... your human ears eventually just fall off.

Your tail grows slowly over time, adding new bones and joints, this is very painful, and you basically cannot sit, all your clothes either now cannot be worn or you have to modify them yourself.

Drastically changes all available dialog options you have, how other chars/factions percieve you, etc.

etc etc.

I have unironically been considering trying to... roughly do my own spin on Kenshi, but with a lot of things different...

But, maybe a kinda derpy catgirl version, a toy model if you will, would not be a bad idea, lol.

I'd think that some kind of transformation mechanic like this would work better in a broader world, with many more possibilities...

... but, a whole lotta nerds like cat girls, and probably would play a game that is basically just that.

Problem is I have a bunch of torn and sprained muscles, so I literally cannot even sit or type for very long without extreme pain, just doing PT everyday...

It is getting better, but who knows lol.

But yeah, I used to have a career in software and data analysis... so an imsim/world sim is the kinds thing I am geared toward, and I've been using and making mods for years, decades at this point... but yeah, I'm crippled and broke lol.

Alternatively, this concept might make a good... well, not exactly an isekai anime, but... yeah like, the world is suddenly beset by an outbreak of feral catgirls from some mad scientist lab, and we have main protag kun who gets bitten, but wait! it turns out some of the feral catgirls aren't feral, like fsllout ghouls, some of them are basicslly still people!

And then i dunno, do trueblood but with anime catgirls rofl
