The Democratic Party Faces a Voter Registration Crisis
-
As long as you vote in the primary.
We can't afford to waste this chance
You can't vote in a primary of party you are not a member of.

Nope, that's not true everywhere:

And even in states with closed primaries, lots of people register to influence the other mainparties candidates because their party can't/won't win at the state level...
Like, there's just so many ways that you are wrong here.

Oof.
Why does this graph not show total registrations? Fuck the Democratic Party. They've dropped the ball consistently for too long. I only hope that enough leftists continue to vote in any races that survive this administration.

There are 18 states that don't even have party affiliation on voter registration.

Democrats all mostly sound like most lawyers. Very trained but not vocally talented enough to be the local news anchor. Very mediocre orators for a very long time only getting by because nationally Republicans sounded just as robotic until Trump. Democrats need people that are fiery and probably funny. Bill Clinton and Obama, both win off Republican failings and incumbency being good things at the time as stability was valued. Reagan/Bush recession and Ross Perot for Bill Clinton. Iraq/Afghanistan and great recession for Obama. Incumbency advantage for the presidency died by 2016 and Hilary Clinton didn't have the sound bites trump could churn out
Democratic voters and orgs need to elevate the vocal firebrands across the country. Local elections through federal. Public engagement matters. Social media metrics. 2016 Chuck, we'll get 2 moderate Republicans for each blue color democrat we lose, Schumer not getting sacked from party leadership was terribly uninspiring. Same with Pelosi at the time especially with the uninspiring reaction the democratic house had with the 2018 young progressive squad that got voted in

And even in states with closed primaries, lots of people register to influence the other mainparties candidates because their party can’t/won’t win at the state level…
This. Those that do this got to vote against trump twice: Once in the primary, once in the general. Also "registering" in some states is simply saying the name of the party when you vote in the primary. You are given that party's ballot, and your name shows up as "registered" for that party.

I think this misses the forest for the trees as a charismatic leader isn’t going to solve the root of the issue, which is that Democrats resemble the right more than the left and rarely ever follow through with the "fighting for the working person!" rhetoric they love to spout off on TV right before an election.
You're just describing another Obama who's greatest accomplishment was cementing the private health insurance industry into law for at least the next several decades. The luster of this type of leader quickly wears off and too many people have seen this same old song and dance over and over again.

We're literally talking about people leaving the democratic party. That's the opposite of joining. Are you dense?

Because only acting like the ratchet mechanism in a ratchet strap going further toward the right isn't a winning stratergy
I floored some smooth brain today by letting them know while Clinton was left of Bush II, Clinton wasn't a "centrist". I pointed out NAFTA was the most damaging piece of economic legislation to the US middle and lower class in the last 50 years. They assumed I supported right wing policy as a result. You know, because if you don't agree Dems are the good guys you must support the right wing, amirite?
Americans are barely literate, let alone educated. All they have are their feels now, which makes them easily manipulable apes, regardless of party.

Billionaires are using propaganda to trick people into doing that, it's not people organically doing it ..
Just like Newsom being labeled a "fighter".
I won't insult you back, but for you're own good you need to start realizing this, if you're falling for this who knows what else you've fallen for...

Just being the lesser evil is not enough anymore.
